| Name: Scale Age/Grade: 23/Junior Race: Hydra/Human Country of origin: Hyrania Appearance: Scale is a hulking monster comprised of muscles, armored scales, and claws, which compliment his incredible power and ferocity very well. He stands at six feet and eleven Inches tall and weighs three hundred and seventy five pounds total. His scales cover the entirety of his body, and form into the shape of an armor of sorts. These scales lock and intertwine, leaving him safe from most forms of attacks. They shine a light blue color, and a pulsating white light can be seen through the cracks of his scales. These scales are incredibly hard, but also flexible, allowing him to move freely without restriction, letting him be agile, despite his huge stature. His eyes are a matching white color, and his face is covered in scales that form a sort of helmet. When he smiles, you can tell how sharp his teeth are just by looking. When standing at attention, Tala stands at 5’7”, and weighs about 140lb making her a slender build female. She hair is a light red with black tips that reach to her lower back with ease. Her eyes are a normal blue except she has Heterchromia Iridum. The closer one looks at her pupil, the more they notice the deep yellow that surrounds it. When Tala looks in the mirror, her unique eyes remind her of the sun being eclipsed by the moon. Her once milk white skin has changed into a light tan to fit the underbelly of her bound creature, the Timber Cerberus. Her skin is still flawless besides her extra appendages and her black inked Tattoo. The tattoo is on her back on top of the left shoulder blade. Her ears are placed on the side of her head where human ears would be located. Her ears point to the sky with a base color of light tan that progressively becomes black as the fur reaches the tip. The fur of the ears spread to strips that go just under her chin and under the base of her skull with tan colors. Her tail is similar to her ears, the fur spreading to the small of her back and strips that curl around her waist. As for her bound creature being a Timber Cerberus(a Timber wolf Cerberus. Also picture is more of for the structure of the creature. Colorings are off.) she has three heads in her other form. For colorings, her underbelly and legs are the same light tan as her skin and the fur at the base of her ears and tail, her sides are a darker tan, and on the top of her shoulders and done her back is a spot of black. This coloring makes her black tattoo almost no longer visible to the human eye. Out of the three heads on her Cerberus body, she is always the middle one, the one who leads. Equipment: - Spoiler:
Weapon-wise, Tala carries a plain, old Rapier on the left side of her waist. She doesn’t really use it if she can help it, but her brother will sometimes talk her into using it during their spars. Not truly equipment, but the girl enjoys wearing jewelry if she can get away with it. She wears three different necklaces around her neck that become collars in her cerberus form with the same charms as the necklaces. Each necklace is on a different chain, but similar chains for equality. The charms are a Sun, a Crescent Moon, and a Star with the Sun and Star holding a cheap yellow gem in the center of them. From right to left, the heads get Sun, Star, and Moon. The best part that Tala loves about these necklaces is the way that she doesn’t lose them is by the tiny magnet that connects the charms together. It is no help to keep the necklaces untangled if Tala sets them down for awhile. The girl has a tiny backpack for her stuff for the academy and she uses it to carry whatever she needs for classes and such. Mostly loose paper, folders, and books, but she always keeps three feathers of a hippogrif in her bag for use later on if she needs it. In both of her shoes, she also placed the fur pelts of a Flying Bison and Hippogriff inside, giving her two ways to shift to a hippogriff. In her dorm room, she stashes a large pelt of a hippogrif and she cuts up the pelt for tiny squares to be put in her pocket or in her shoes so she can have a creature other than Cerberus to shift into. Lastly, she has a few Hippocampi scales in a small wooden box. Only enough for three uses as well as an extra flying bison hide. This backpack also carries a small kit that holds the necessities for sewing and skinning creatures. Skills: Tala is able to cook pretty well and she can skin animals which is essential for her race. The girl is very agile and nimble. Her brother may be dexterous, but she is better even though she is more fragile physically. Magical Abilities:- Spoiler:
Pelt Shift- The ability to shift into any creature so long as Tala has the pelt for the creature in her possession. When it comes to large reptile scales, she only needs three scales to change into the creature. This rule also goes for feathered creatures; if she has three feathers of the same species of bird, she can shift. A piece of pelt that is the size of copy paper is all the girl needs to change; however, that is only one shift. After she shifts using that piece of pelt and she shifts back into her human form, the pelt will fall apart and become useless.
Auraic Twitch- An ability that allows her to focus her energy into her rapier and then make it shoot out of the tip to a target in a bolt or arrow shape. If it hits, the target may suffer from a burning sensation or if she chooses, a cold sensation that slows down their healing process. Tala may also choose to make it a razor sharp bolt to shoot it at the target. Using the ability with her rapier, even though it has not been charm or enchanted, has proven to make her ability “Auraic Blast” hone in on the target slightly if she uses this ability first. This attack can create wounds that are deep and painful.. This ability increases the taint on her soul depending on the extremity of the attack.
Auraic Blast- Tala focuses the aura around her into a ball of magic and shoots it toward her target. When hit, force is pressed against the target and when the ball of magic is bigger than the size of her hand, she is able to burn the target with second degree burns. The ball of magic can be as small as a marble to as big as a large yoga ball. The larger the ball of magic, the more tainted her soul becomes. The force of the magic of the largest can knock back a medium size person several feet away.
Auraic Touch- A way of reducing the taint on her soul is by using this ability to heal others and even herself. With this magic, she is able to speed of the healing process of any wounds she touches. Those affected by this are likely to feel a minty-like sensation for the first hour. The healing process only needs to be used once on the wound and it cuts off a day's worth of healing from the ally's wound.
Auraic Meditation- Another way to reduce the taint in her soul is by meditating. This is least effective due to the fact that one hour of meditation only purifies a little bit of her soul. She has also tried this meditation while she sleeps. The problem is she must be able to get 8 hours of sleep and it takes many attempts to wake her from this state. This has proven useless when the setting takes place in a war, so she rarely ever uses this power.
Tainted Shot- An ability that is only used when the taint of her soul is 60%. An controllable power that slowly taints her soul further than it was before. Tala releases “Shards” of her aura ten at a time which can cut through glass with a clean edge. If it were to hit a creature, the creature would also experience severe muscle spasms. This attack progressively gets weaker. opponent's begin to twitch after awhile instead of the muscle spasms, and the "blade" get duller once the taint reaches 80%
Tainted Protection- Another ability only available when she is at 60% percent tainted. Normally she uses it as a combo with Tainted Shot because it is uncontrolled and her body is trying to release energy, dooming her in the process. With Tainted Protection, a 5ft bubble is created around her and is resistant to physical attacks. It can be broken with magic and a constant force of physical attack for half an hour, but the shield does not weaken as she grows more and more tainted. Once broken via brute force instead of exhaustion, Tala will possibly fall unconscious, but wake an hour or two later, ready to lessen the taint on her soul. Her tainted powers will not activate again unless she stays 60% tainted for three days. If she becomes comatose before she is able to be stopped, all power will cease.
Weaknesses: - Spoiler:
The tattoo and her soul being tainted as her weaknesses. The tattoo reveals to enemies that if they put enough force on her left shoulder, she will revert back to her human form. She will also revert if fatigued. Her soul has to maintain at least 50% purification for her to keep a comfortable control on what she does. Once it lowers, her control depends on her exhaustion and/or physical state. At 60% her tainted abilities trigger at once and if someone doesn’t stop her in some way, she will end up in a coma. If she is put unconscious from other reasons besides tainted level, she will wake and be able to heal and meditate to purify her soul again. Another weakness she has is the fact that she has two heads in her Cerberus form. In that form, she has no real control over the other two heads and sometimes is forced to talk to them before battle to get them to do what she wants. In her human form, they sometimes end up butting into her mind and talking to her in her head. She hates it when they do this because in some cases, they will argue with one another for an hour and end up giving her a headache.
History: - Spoiler:
When Tala was young, say 2-4 years old, her opinions were always changing. With her cultures rite of passage being to become one with an animal, she was constantly in awe as to all the creatures she could become. How about a Basilisk? Or a dragon? There were too many options.
Her older brother was determined to be the hero of an unbelievable story, so he wanted to bind with an unbelievable creature. The creature that defied death himself: the phoenix. Her brother would constantly make fun of her because she couldn’t choose, but the day they both were ready for their meditation, she knew exactly what she wanted.
The little girl wanted to be one with Cerberus. She wanted to create an inseparable bond with a creature that was hard to keep control of unless trained. She wanted to be just like her brother and do great things. If she could control the power of a Cerberus, she could do anything her brother could do!
Meditation came on her 5th birthday and she scouted into a cave with her brother. They were separated for the first time in their lives for the rite of passage and for awhile, Tala was terrified without her brother. After a week; however, of staying at the dark walls and the pelt of a Cerberus in front of her, she decided to achieve her goal. With a stomach that was empty and growling with pain, she disregarded her need for food and water and meditated for a full year. Once the year was up, she was awoken by her brother who helped her out of the cave and the two celebrated their new binding with a party and the ceremony that allowed them to get their well deserved tattoos. Six months after the rite of passage, the rest of the society in Northern Leivelrieth didn't enjoy how Tala was spending her time using melee weaponry and copying her brother. They decided that the only why the little girl would survive one day is if she used range and magic instead of what she was training with. The two were separated once again and Tala was sent to Southern Leivelrieth to learn the basics of magic and feminine attributes.
The first few months were horrible. She cried about her brother and about her dreams falling apart before she realized the gift her aura gave her. Once that was discovered, she couldn’t help herself, she played around with this new power, experimenting mostly on bugs and mice. Overtime she realized her aura’s effect on her soul and even learned how to measure its percentage. Her magic became her only asset in battle.
One day when she was 16, a boy around her age found her and told her she was well-known where he was from because of her unique aura. He wanted to know if she would join him in going to the academy to train and hone their skills. What didn’t set well with her was his first impression on her was that she had bound herself with some feline. The mere words made her blood boil and she explained loudly to the boy that she was a Timber Cerberus, a breed of Cerberus that has an link to the earth dog breed timber wolf.
She even told him why she wanted to be a Cerberus and she spoke about her brother that she didn’t remember all too well. She ranting made the boy curious and he trusted her with his stories of his sister that was taken from him for stupid reasons. She was also very confused as to what her bound creature should be until the day of the meditation.
Curiosity got the better of them both and they shared their tattoos location and looks with each other, realizing they were the other’s sibling from when they were little. Heartfelt emotions were everywhere and they both decided it would be a great idea to be in the academy together.

| OK Tribby's first. Hyrania is a continent btw, not a country. Anyway in terms of lore he seem more like a cursed hydra or a bizzare mutation. But that is actually an interesting idea and would like to see what comes off from playing that. You will be Hyranian so expect t be somewhat of an outcast ad the group to be suspicious f you as you are not originally from the empire but migrated into it for whatever reason. At any rate, playing him as is would likely hep with sympathizers.
Actually I a missing something now. He is related to hydras but has no regenerative abilities. Just make a mention of that and it should be fine as without it he is more akin to dragons of which hydras are a small sub-division.

His skin is caked with dirt and he doesn't bathe often enough to wash it all away. His uniform is askew as its not put on properly the tie angles to the side a bit, his jacket is left open, His boots are caked with dirt. The hood of his jacket is down and behind his head and inside of the hood is a little monster the size of a beetle and made up of hard compact dirt. It doesn't look like anything that exists from this world, it has 4 legs with the front legs having 2 razor sharp spike claws on each leg and the back legs are larger and haunches to propel it forward. It has 2 tusks that come out and forward from the side of head, it has razor sharp teeth. it has a plated body covered in small spikes (starcraft zergling)
equipment: he doesn't carry any equipment beside some dirt he has stashed in his various pockets
skills: he has very little skills since he has had no experience doing things Adaptability: he can adapt to a variety of situations if the need calls for it, this helps with being a quick learner in the new school environment he is placed in. Survivability: he can survive on half the required food or water for long periods of time due to living in a poor environment
magical abilities: Zouch has a very unique ability to fully manipulate earth with his will. he is still young and has yet to fully utilize or understand his power. He only has to say a few words for the magic to work. shape earth: he can shape and move dirt, stone, and mud (later metals) to almost any shape he desires. he can change mud to dirt and dirt to mud. He can made it extremely to the point where it is similar but still weaker than steel. Enhance Self: he cant yet control this ability but he can infuse himself (much later others) with the dirt to enhance their strength and durability. making them stronger and be able to take more hits. Earthen companion: his loneliness and need for a companion, he has made himself a friend. The companion takes the shape of the castors imagination. It acts like an obedient dog. It can fully understand its master. It follows its orders to the best of its ability and tries to fulfill to the masters true desire not just the words. it can grow bigger over time. earthen summons: using the abilities of shaping earth and the companion he can make lesser earth monsters with his will that he has to control for them to act. to have them act he uses his imagination and thinks what he wants them to do but he has to actively think about it for it to work. and they are much weaker than the companion
Weaknesses: His weaknesses is that he cannot control sand very well it is extremely difficult, he his slow and can't make very quick actions so he only has below average elven movements. He has to have some form of dirt or earth to manipulate for his abilities to work.
History: He was raised on the outskirts of a small village near the border closets to the sonniette empire. He lived with only his mother as an only child and they had very little money and lived in a run down earth home. He did not have any friends and was more of an outcast in society. A wealthy magician was traveling through the town when he spotted Zouch with his companion. he talked with the boy and found that he could have a large potential so he offered him a chance at the most prestigious battle school where he can learn his ability. The boy agreed and left after saying goodbye to his mother. He went to the next city over where he was (reluctantly) bathed and shown his ability to some people higher in the magical system and they agreed to get him into the school at his age. he was stealthily enrolled in the school so some people outside would not make such a fuss about this child getting in, instead of others.

| Powers and abilities look good, which is all Mist really has me checking
I'm not sure if Zerglings fit into Mist's lore or not though. The filth may be a uniform violaction too. I have no idea how strict the rules are on that .
Besides that he is freakishly tall for a wood elf, especially one who very well may be prepubescent. From what I read in the plot pages Mist linked to in the intro the average heigh for an adult wood elf is about 5 nothing. | |

| Ok, Golems and advanced golems. A character with an extremely huge mana pool, even larger than that of Victoria if he is able to mold the elements with his will alone and not spells. I would suggest that you add that he recites spells, they don't have to be incredibly lengthy if he has a large mana pool but they will help with realism in lore.
As far as the uniform goes, he will likely get int lots of trouble for uniform default, but there are npcs who have the same.
We will often be surrounded by water btw, or wettish land where you can be of use. Just keep that in mind. ______________________________________________________
Ok now everyone is free to post after reading my post. That is a whopping 2700+ words but if you are a bit squeamish you might wanna skip the 'quote'. I will reveal more about Myrillian's little gift later. I will also reveal his plans.
If there are any typos, mistakes or whatnot you can let me know or correct them yourself (should you be able) if what it should be is glaringly obvious. I didn't proofread 'cause it it 2700 words and I was up literally all night waiting for the stuffs I needed to be posted or working on this freaking huge post. Ok now I'm done and you can have fun.

| Alright thank you my bad i misread head shorter as a head taller since high elves are 3 heads taller on average ill correct that also the zerglings are just golems made through his imagination that's why they don't look like anything that exists as written in the appearance of the character and I will use words when using abilities | |
