"Asinoir... I'm not leaving your side at this time... We still have the wedding to plan after all. besides... if a meeting's called I might as well go to be able to inject the Mana Spirit's thoughts..."

The Forbidden Art - Page 13 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Forbidden Art   The Forbidden Art - Page 13 EmptySun Dec 16, 2012 7:39 pm

Azogue stretched himself, he remembered the things that had happened in the springs. "Dalicat, we are in the chosen village, wake up" He said as he noticed that they had arrived in the chosen ones village. Dalicat yawned as she flicked her tail at him. "Shut up and let me sleep." Dalicat said in a growl as she fell back to sleep. Azogue nodded, and decide to sleep for a bit too. Dalicat purred as she curled herself with her tail. "Mmmmuurrrr " Dalicat said in her sleep. Azogue curled around Dalicat instinctively, as he felt the cold air around him. Dalicat woke up but then looked at Azogue. "Awwww." She said in a low voice but then flicked her tail at his face. "Wake up Azouge! We have a LONG day ahead of us!" Dalicat said putting a strain on the word long.

"Ok Dalicat" Said Azogue as he kissed Dalicat on instinct. Dalicat kissed back, but then told the carriage jockey to stop here. The carriage stopped, and Dalicat flicked her tail at Azouge as she walked out. "We can walk from here." She simply told him as she began to walk east. Azogue nodded and followed Dalicat. Dalicat still walked as she looked behind her to see if anyone else was following her. Azogue catched up with Dalicat. "So, happy to be here?" He asked her.

Spoiler:
"I need food for my tummy..." Dalicat whined as she blushed lightly. "Do oyu want me to bring you food hunny?" Asked Azogue as he nuzzled Dalicat's face. "Yes please." Dalicat said purring. "Don't worry Dalicat, anything in specific you want?" Asked Azogue as he kissed Dalicat. "Something well-cooked." Delicat answered. "Ok" Said Azogue as he went to the kitchen, finding some cooked meat. He returned after a while and showed the food to Dalicat. "IS this good?" He asked her. Dalicat sniffed it then shaked her head. "Re-heat it."

"You have a stove?" Asked Azogue. "No, just go get a stick with string and tie it then go to the second door before the dining hall and go downstairs. Flick it like it was a finishing nod and bring it back." Dalicat said as she ruffled her fur. "Are you serious?" Asked Azogue with a smile as he kissed the kitsune. "Yes I is." Dalicat said as she yawned and turned over to her side and covered her face with her tail, embracing herself. "Ok" Said Azogue as he went to do what Dalicat told him to do, returning after a few minutes. "Ok, here it is" He said. Dalicat looked at him for a moment then laughed. "Oh my glory I can't believe you did that!" Dalicat said laughing, punching her fists into the bed. "Your such a idiot!" Dalicat laughed as she rolled around the bed, unable to control herslef. "I didn't even have to do anything! Seriously though, go make a fire under the oven or something like that."

"Or how about here?" Asked Azogue as he took a small object from his pocket, making a small, fake, fire. Dalicat sniffed it. "Fake." She just said as she laid her head on the pillow. "Clever kitsune" Said Azogue as he gave Dalicat's ass a small slap. "I will be back in a second" He quickly added as he went to prepare the fire. He reappeared a few minutes later with the re-heated meat. Dalicat smiled and purred. Azogue laid in front of Dalicat, wrapping his arms around her waist. Dalicat began to eat, ignoring the fact that he was infront of her. She focused on eating. "hmmmm..." She said as she licked her lips. "SO, how is the meat?" Asked Azogue as he looked at Dalicat. "Good, really good." Delicat said as she nommed on it. "I am glad" Answered Azogue. Dalicat countined to eat the meat. She soon finished eating and burped. "Exuse me."She said smiling.

"Don't worry" Said Azogue smiling as he nuzzled Dalicat's face. "Alright then." Dalicat said smiling. Azogue leaned closer and kissed Dalicat's lips. "We should go to sleep, shouldn't we?" Asked Azogue to the kitsune. Dalicat yawned. "Alright then." Azogue nuzzled Dalicat's face as she yawned Dalicat laid down. "Nighty night." Dalicat simply said as she fell asleep. "Sleep well" Said Azogue as he kissed Dalicat's cheek softly. He then slid out of the bed softly, and went upstairs to look over the window, and what he saw, filled him with fear, the mountain barrier that had protected the Chosen One's village had fallen.

As they walked, a memory popped into his head, It was of that unforgettable night three months ago, when he had first met Dalicat. It got him hard even thinking about it.

Spoiler:

It was nine o clock by the time the group reached the encampment. All around villagers practicing and preparing for war.

"What do we do now?" Kailyn asked, fully confused by what was going on. She hoped Falks or the new guy would be able to give her a full plan of what the attack was going to be like before they left.

-=-=-=-=-=-

Just as Ret and Asi were leaving Asinoir’s house, the same woman from the council the day before approached them.

“I’m sure you know of the impending attack,” Said the woman, raking her fingers through her hair, “We don’t know how many are coming or when. I know you wanted to marry soon but it seems like we might have to delay that.”

Asinoir looked at Ret and held her hand, giving her a reassuring squeeze.

“What do you think about an impromptu wedding? I’d like to be able to show you off as my wife as we destroy our enemies,” He said with a grin, trying to conceal the worry that he was feeling. It wasn’t so much that he wondered they would survive; it was just a natural feeling he got whenever Ret could be in danger.

The Chosen council woman blinked at the sudden change of plans, “I guess that would be alright… I have to reassign a barrier guard as well as a few more, it seems that we got sloppy and lazy and that cost us our life. The preliminary scouts show no sign of hostiles in the area, so I guess you guys have some time.”

"Sounds good to me, Asi. It wouldn't be much just for who we need there to be there, right?" A small blush crossed her face, "I... do need to tell you a little something about marrying me," Ret added, whispering the details of the Spirit Pact in Asinoir's ears. Asinoir’s grin grew, especially as she got to the ‘juicy’ bit. It was going to be the best part of the wedding, besides actually being married to her.

The council woman nodded, “Where will you plan on marrying?”

“I wanted to on the mountain,” Asinoir said, looking at Ret, “There’s a special thing I want Princess to see up there.”

“I’ll meet you there in a half an hour as I prepare our warriors,” Replied the council woman as she turned to leave.

“Dress warmly, my love,” Asinoir said, planning on going back to his own house to get dressed in better attire, “I’ll meet you at my house in fifteen minutes, if you don’t mind.”

With that, Asinoir turned to go into his house. His mind raced as he thought of a good outfit to wear to a wedding. He didn’t own anything formal! He entered his home and paced for a little bit. He quickly decided it would be easier to decide what to wear if he could see what he owned. Therefore, he went upstairs and opened up his closet. He looked inside and saw a few button downs but nothing like a tuxedo. He ground his teeth and grabbed a black, grey, and white plaid shirt that fit his muscles well. He took off his shirt and pulled a black tee over top of his finely chiseled chest. He then put on the button down but left it open.

He skimmed his pants and all that came up was casual wear. He sighed, frustrated, and changed into a pair of well fitting jeans that hung a little low on his hips, showing his V-lines. He turned to look in the mirror and quickly realized he didn’t have one. He groaned and then stomped over to a window to check his hair and outfit.

Only partially satisfied with how he looked, knowing he was going to be outshined by his love, he went out of his house and stood, waiting for her.

She giggled as she returned to her home and immidiately moved to the wardrobe... then she sighed, "Welp... this is the warmest I can have on..." Then an idea hit her, "Oh but I know for sure what would keep me warm and be comfy for him! Fur~" She said letting her body enter her spirit form before grinning, "I know he's going to love my simplicity in staying warm.... he's gunna have to get used to it if we decide to live in the Mana Spirit Plane with me," She said before literally flying out of her window, having made sure her door was locked, before floating down infront of him, "Fur insulates, honey~" She said with a smile to her waiting husband to be, "Shall we then?" she asked simply with a smile.

Asinoir smiled at the furry version of his love. She was still gorgeous. Asinoir took Ret’s hand and grinned mischievously. He showed her a bandana and said, “It’s a surprise,” before wrapping it around her eyes. He kissed her on the cheek and then flew them upwards and towards the top of the actual mountain.

He made the air particles around them move faster so that the air stayed somewhat warm. He also pulled oxygen towards them so that they wouldn’t have a hard time breathing. He did this all with a smile on his face. He carried Ret bridal style until they landed at the very peak. Snow gently layered the ground, fresh and new with no other footprints.

He took the blindfold off as he set her down on the ground.

“This is called snow,” Asinoir said, bending over and scooping some up and packing it, “And this…” He smiled mischievously, “Is called a snowball,” With that, he threw it gently at Ret. He made the air rush around so that it exploded right before it would hit her, creating a fall of the frozen water to look like little bits of glitter in the moonlight.

She smiled at what she was shown but her smiled faded slightly when she saw what it looked like when it fell, "A-Asi..." She said a little nervous, "When it falls it... looks just like a Mana Spirit dying..." She shivered slightly, but the shiver was born of a twinge of fear instead of the cold.. in fact even without Asinoir's aid the air didn't feel cold to her at all.

Asinoir’s face fell. Well, that didn’t go according to plan. He walked up to her and gently wrapped his arms around her, pulling her to a full frontal hug. He kissed her ear and whispered his apology just as the council woman arrived on the mountain top.

“Let’s save that for the honeymoon,” The woman joked, obviously not knowing the context of the hug. Asinoir broke away from Ret.

“Well, what do we do?” Asinoir said, holding Ret’s hand as he stood by her side.

“Well first, you have to let go of her,” The woman said with a smile. Asinoir pouted and harrumphed but obliged.

“Forgive me if I mess up some of the lines, we usually don’t have to do this. The last time I married someone, it was Abram and Sarah, you know, the half siblings?” She said nervously.

“Not exactly what I want to think about when I’m getting married,” Asinoir growled, disgusted by the incest that was permitted within the village. The woman shrugged but began the ritual.

“We gather here today to join these two in holy matrimony. They will be, under the eyes of our law, bound together until the end of time. Let none that we bring together be torn apart,” The council woman said and then stopped, scratching at her forehead, “I can’t remember the rest. Did you guys write your own vows or would you like to repeat after me?”

Asinoir shook his head, taking this chance to turn and look at Ret, “I wasn’t looking for someone. I didn’t want love and I sure as hell didn’t want a wife. But when I met you, something inside of me changed. I fought it, tried to tell myself it was wrong, but in reality, nothing could be more right. You’re the joy in my laughter, the sun in my day, the peanut butter to my jelly!” Asinoir said, chuckling at the end, “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. To grow more in love with you. To grow old with you. You’re my future.”

With that, the council woman looked at Ret.

Ret's heart swelled at his words, "960 years ago I thought humans would never be worthy of me... but you proved me wrong in a matter of weeks. In fact until I saw you, and saw how devoted you can be, I knew no other could suit me. Nothing is beautiful to me, unless you're there to see it with me, Asinoir and I want nothing more but to spend each and every day with you, no matter how old we get. Through thick and thin and even beyond death my heart is yours."

From afar Ret's uncle looked on, smiling, "Farewell, Daelead. You can now rejoin your beloved wife." He said quietly.

The council woman smiled and said the words, “I pronounce you man and wife, you may now kiss the bride.” Asinoir had no hesitation to listen to the order and leaned forward, giving Ret a passionate kiss that just leaked with the love he was feeling.

“Your turn, beautiful,” Asinoir whispered, referring to the Mana Spirit’s tradition.

Ret returned the kiss with pure joy on her face, her hand already moving to collect the fuild she needed from her own body to mark the Spirit Pact. She took his hand and simply said, "For Mana Spirits to accept the union a pact denoting it shall be formed," her words just flowed out of her as her finger worked precisely with her fluids, never needing to collect any more, to mark the Spirit Pact on Asinoir's hand. The moment it was competed is gained a faint glow of Red and White, her arm gaining a band that glowed similarly but the colours instead were yellow and grey. At this time the Spiritshard floeated free of Ret's body and with a faint yet echoing message of, "Take good care o' me daughter, Asinoir... I cannae protect her 'ny longer now. Best o' luck to ye both!" With the message gone what appeared to be snow phased out of the crystal and rose to the sky before the Spirit Shard shattered harmlessly.

"Farewell father..." Ret whispered as she watched the last of her blood relatives accept their death. Asinoir watched and his heart twitched in guilt. He wrapped his arm around his wife and laid a gentle kiss on her forehead.

“Thank you, sir…” He said, looking at the beautiful sight in the sky as a Mana Spirit rejoined his wife.

“We may not have much time,” Said the council woman as she started to turn away. Asinoir nodded and looked at Ret. He took her hand again and kissed her ring finger with a grin he couldn’t get rid of. He then scooped her up in his arms and kicked off the ground, flying them towards his home.

“We won’t be living here for very long… or we could live at your house,” Asinoir said, opening the door with one hand and then stepping in. He longed to consummate their marriage but he wasn’t sure if Ret was ready to… or if they had enough time. God knows that he wanted to take his time worshipping her body.

Retashoudal grinned, "Which one? Remember i have one in the Mana Spirit Plane?" She said then added, "Either way... There's something of mine I believe you want to want to pop isn't there?" She had an unusually lusty tone in her voice as she shifted in his arms to wrap both arms and legs around him, "And honestly... I'm glad we married when we did. Makes this come so much sooner, doesn't it~?"

Asinoir groaned as the sudden lust struck him like a lightning bolt, shooting up and down his spine and tightening his pants around his dick, “Someone’s going to be cumming,” He replied, unable to resist the play on words. He bent his head down and kissed her as he started to walk upstairs and into the bedroom.

Spoiler:

"That was wonderful Asinoir~" she said before pulling him into another passionate kiss. Asinoir smiled against the kiss and laid them down, stroking her back as they cuddled.

“Only because it was with you,” He said, kissing her hair.

The Forbidden Art - Page 13 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Forbidden Art   The Forbidden Art - Page 13 EmptyMon Dec 17, 2012 10:44 am

He lay, on his uncle’s fine pheasant feather bed with hand knit sheets, in the large fancy, lavish, fully furnished bed room, above the old dusty, rarity emporium. By the bed was a marble nightstand holding letters, a locked leather box, and what seemed to be a flask, and gold key. Across from it was a large oak dresser, and to the left of the room among many other luxuries was a red locked chest.

Underneath the large window overlooking the large ruined underground trading city set alight by magic floating balls of light that simulated daylight. Vonton lie there memories swirling within his head, sitting in the kitchen making dinner with his mother, his mother had been a master of summoning and scrying and though when he was young she was a teacher for most of his life she was a council women. He smiled sweetly, memories of listening to his father one of the highest ranking battle mages in there city, talk about the troops under his command.

Memories of their life in the lovely city of BobTomGay. Though the sweetest memories of all where with Merdeth, she was a great prodigy in transformation magic but she was of lower class. She was looked down upon by all, expect for the one young man of noble class that fell in love with her. Unbeknownst to him, he began to involuntary spit up blood.

June literally jumped back as he coughed blood up right next to her face. A squeal of disgust almost came from her as she fell onto the floor. Without realizing it, she grabbed a bandage and compulsively wiped the side of her face. Thankfully there wasn't any blood in her hair.

After getting back up and getting over the shock of the sudden blood, June took a moment to look over the man. He seemed so peaceful in his rest. Slowly, she took the bandages and began tending to his wounds. It dawned on her that they were far more severe than they seemed at first. She couldn't help but imagine how he acquired such injuries, especially since she knew he was a mage.

In the back of her head flashed images of her own life. A young, impressionable 12 year old girl sat in the middle of the woods having been driven out of town by mana phobic civilians. Before her were three grown men. Two of them had sticks for beating her with. The third held a knife. They hated her simply because she was different. Because she had magic.... Magic was evil.

June shivered as she felt the scar on her shoulder she had hidden under her sleeve before going back to helping out the man. Sometimes she forgot how cruel people could be.

More memories swirled in his head, as there was a large thud downstairs where a shelf had broken and the large magic stones on it had broken. As he began to awaken he felt a soft pressure and the feel of cloth on his body. His vision was still blurry; he could just make out a female figure. Wait, could this person be? It had to be, no one else would have even bothered, to aid him, after he failed his people and want he had down to the puny humans. He sat up and spoke in a dry voice his vision still blurry. “Me Merdeth? My love?”

"Who?" June asked in a confused voice. Could he even hear her? In the confusion, June's mind re-focused on the present moment. "Don't try to talk." She said as sincerely as possible, "You might accidently cough up more blood." Unsure exactly how to treat the injuries, June looked around where the bandages were.

"Alright," she mentioned mostly to herself as she picked up a bottle. "I think this is something to disinfect the wound." Slowly, she tried to apply some of the liquid to the man's open head wound. "If it hurts, then that means its working."

The man's body shivered slightly as his eyes opened. He started to get up with little strain as whatever was in the jar began to take effect. It must be some type of healing fluid or something. The poor guy probably didn't have enough time or energy to find it himself after the attack. June took a few steps back, unsure exactly how to react to him getting off the blood-soaked bed. He still seemed a little weak, but otherwise fine.

A new thought seen came along to dominate her mind. Now that the mysterious man was going to live, what if the people that did this came back? Vladimir was the first person she would try and trust in this situation, but he had passed on. Then, she remembered the people that were with him and Azirak! Azirak and the others seemed to be in the same place. As much as June had been trained to hate mages, there wasn't much choice. It would be the safest place for them right now.

"Come on!" June said as she found herself tugging on his arm, "we've got to go."

He ripped from her firm hold, and walked around the room of the large building taking what he needed. When he returned his pack was stuffed, and he was donning new clothes and armor. He coughed once more and fainted into Junes arm.

Maybe he wasn't as well off as she thought he was. "You think you can make it, uhh.... I never got your name, did I?" June managed to say under the man's weight. Somehow he seemed to know where everything was in this place. It must have been important to him in some way or another. With surprisingly little strain, June put the man's arm over her shoulder and slowly carried him across the room and out the door. The feeling of his bloody body on her was one of both disgust and pity. All she knew was that there was a reflective surface near the other group and that somehow she had missed a mirror nearby.

Vonton wasn`t quite his self, the potion was too old and out of date. It was having negative effects, and Vonton began to puke on the ground near June`s shoes. 'Vonton!" He said groggily, "Vonton, Lon Danguard. Son of council woman Trudy von Danguard and Cheif Warmage, G." Before he could even finish he half fainted again and skipped over his father name, as he was dragged to a large jewelry store.

Once again, June tried to ignore the feeling of disgust that came over her. She considered giving him a fake name, but ultimately couldn't lie to Vonton. "My name's June Maywell. Daughter of..." her voice trailed off. She didn't even want to think of her father while Vonton was bleeding and puking everywhere. The thought that her father might have had to suffer something like this while protecting her was almost unbearable.

"Anyways," she changed the subject, "you should probably throw the old potions out next time." By the time they got to the jewelry store, June pushed Vonton head-first through the reflective display case. Then, before thinking, June jumped through the same display case!

Vonton plopped out the back of Falk's golden armor. Before he could react to the thud, June followed and landed on top of the wounded man. Thankfully, that didn't make Vonton throw up again. The last thing June wanted was to be covered in vomit when making a first impression. However, the next worse thing would be lying on a mostly helpless man while making a first impression....

"These are local villagers turned militia, ready to lay down their lives to defeat the Chosen." He stopped a young boy who was walking by and carrying supplies. "You there, where is lord Falks?"
"He and a group of men went off on a reconnaissance mission near the Chosen village just after you left."
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Falks and the group of men neared the border of the trees on the outskirts of the village. They were so close they could almost feel it when two people came tumbling out of his chest. "What the hell?"

PostSubject: Re: The Forbidden Art   The Forbidden Art - Page 13 EmptyMon Dec 17, 2012 1:42 pm

"Ma'am."

"Ughnhnnn."

"Ma'am!"

"UGHNNN!"

"Ma'am, I must insist--" A pillow in the face stopped the man from saying anything else. With a satisfied smile, a woman used her red hair as a pillow, smacking her lips as she lay back down.

"This is hardly appropriate!" Huffed the soldier, "Sleeping right by the barrier."

Suddenly, her green eyes snapped open. Within a blink, a dagger was at the soldier's throat, the woman hissing from behind him, "You'd better have a damn good reason for waking me up."

The man gulped, the steel biting at his skin, "There seems to be a party of scouts to the south of us," His voice wobbled as his Adam's apple quivered. Why did he always pick paper? His partner always won that game and dumped all the dirty/scary work on him.

The cold-heartedness in her eyes softened slightly, "Company!" She exclaimed excitedly, moving her dagger away from the man's neck.

"C'mon, Vee-Vee, Drappy, let's go get our visitors!" She said with a giggle. She stepped outside of the barrier and sent out a pulse of air. It spread quickly through the forest and worked like a sonar, warping around trees and giving the woods "shape". It didn't take very long for it to locate the scouting party. To them, it would have felt like a slight breeze.

Vera looked behind her and sent them a wink.

"You're slow, so let me help you," Vera said, looking at Vexoz. She closed her eyes and focused on his essence, the faint aura of magic he gave off. She asked the Wind to help him, to push him, to allow him to keep up. When the Wind agreed, Vera opened her eyes.

"And Drappy, you're perfect! Last one there's a rotten egg!" She said childishly, blowing them a kiss before kicking off the ground and leaving a dust cloud in her wake.

She was always very, very competitive, so the fact she made it to the party's location in under a minute was no surprise. She arrived just in time to see someone pop out of someone's armor.

She started to clap and said, "Congratulations, you just had twins!" To the man in the very shiny, very yellow armor. She wrinkled her nose when she looked at the sickly one, "He looks like he's seen better days. You know you're not supposed to smoke while you're pregnant, right?"

PostSubject: Re: The Forbidden Art   The Forbidden Art - Page 13 EmptyMon Dec 17, 2012 2:09 pm

June looked around at all the random people surrounding this one man. She didn't know the reflective thing she sensed would be attatched to a person! Awkwardly climbing off Vonton, she got to her feet, brushed the front of her cloathes to make sure they weren't bloody, and stated, "I can explein...."

This was such a large crowd. Her face turned as red as the slight specks of blood that dotted the front of her shirt. "I was... umm, well...." Why did her brain have to quit working now? "He was attacked by a group of people that hate magic and.... You know. I couldn't just leave him there!" She let loose a shy grin and hoped they believed her. A few of them gave her a funny look.

Unsure what to do, she crossed her arms to cover some of the mess up. Oh gosh, it felt like it was in her hair too! "Excuse me," she said to the main soldier who was just used as a portal. "Is there anywhere nearby where I can clean myself?"

Suddenly, she noticed a group of three people. A red haired mage woman, a dragon wolf thing with an ax, and a heavilly muscled swordsman. All three of them seemed to be mages, but something about them all felt... different. The woman seemed to be the strongest as a mage, nearly as magical as Asinoir if not more. The wolf dragon was probably the most unusual of them, somehow he just felt.... Just wrong. She couldn't put her finger on why. And then there was the man. His mana was so unusually small... almost like a child's mana. None of them gave June a particularly good feeling.

Vexoz followed Vera down the hill. So much for calling Asinoir out about his plans.... The woman near Falks gave them an almost fearfull look. "Try to keep them alive," the warrior mentioned to Vera and Tellas as he drew his blade.

Falks just stared at the man with his sword drawn. "So we meet again masked man... to bad I didn't bring my gun, or I'd go through on my promise." He said as he undid the binding on his sword. The other three withdrew their swords in turn. Falks looked at the red haired girl. "Vera I presume? Cee talked kindly of you. I would hope things do not come to blows between us, lest he be left heartbroken."

Vera wagged her finger at the two men, "Now, now, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. Let's try being poli-- wait, you said Cee?" Vera said suddenly, "How do you know him? And you can't just threaten me like that! Geez, does anyone have chivalry anymore?" She rolled her eyes to add a bit of flare and put her hands on her hips.

"Anywho, how about you tell me just what your plans are? How many are there of you guys? When are you coming to attack us and why now? Stuff like that would be great!"

Falks just stared in disbelief at the girl. "A-are you really that dumb?" He said, unable to grasp how she could possibly think he would tell her all that. "And Cee and I met a few years ago, before you Chosen brainwashed, him."

Tellas was silent as he obliged the red-head in her race.

He even stayed silent when the threat happened. but his positioning alone would be clear sign that if they attacked Vera, he would be in the way.

Finally he spoke, "There are ways to extact that information. One half of me does wonder how much of your painful memories you can handle until you crack and spill the beans."

Falks laughed. "Well, part of me wonders how much electricity you can take before you become freshly fried doggie meat." He said as energy crackled balled up in his hands. "How about you all lead me to your village, and I'll let you three live when we're done. Either way the Chosen will fall by the end of the day."

Tellas' axe found it's way to his claws and he simply said, "You won't be laughing when your mind is too lost in pain to talk back. And even if the Chosen fall they will return." He then growled.

"Yeah, and when they do we'll just crush them again. They need to learn that two wrongs don't make a right." He said as he held up his sword in response. "So I'm guessing you're the reason I couldn't sleep last night, with all that damn howling. Well come one doggie, come get some."

Vexoz watches as things escelated.

"How about you all lead me to your village, and I'll let you three live when we're done. Either way the Chosen will fall by the end of the day."

"Wait," he said, "you mean you DON'T know how to get there?" A smile appeared under his faceguard as he looked around. "You brought all these men and yet you don't know...." It was obvious that these guys weren't trained fighters. The warrior looked down at his blade as energy crackled from Falk's hands. Probably not the best idea to cross blades with an energy mage, however with his new skill prehaps his own mana could keep him from getting shocked?

"Any skilled fighter can tell these are not trained men and this guy doesn't even know where he's leading them. What chance do you stand against an army of trained mages on thier own land?" He announced loud enough for Falk's men to hear. "They'll get blown to bits before even reaching our doorstep. Do any of them even have experience fighting mages? Because I can assure you, it's not the same as fighting a normal man!"

June, meanwhile, was unsure what to do. She couldn't protect Vonton if a fight started! Especially if the mages were as strong as they seemed. She thought she would be safe here, not get caught up in a war!

Tellas didn't even move in response to the man, "The howls come every full moon... other wolves do so, even my own kin. If you don't like that, take it with Luna." He said as light magic gathered in orbs around him, "Not that you'd get the chance,"

His eyes flicked towards Vera before he said, "Vera... I'll do my bst to get him into a state that ill be more copoerative, but if I become enraged it would be wise for you to keep your distance... My rage is different to others."

Then with a beat if his wings he merely stated, "You have one minute to answer Vera's questions before the breaking of your mind starts."

"Oh, boys! We got a badass up in here!" Falks' words were met with laughter from his men. "Shut the hell up poochie, before I turn you into kibble." Falks focused the energy into his feet and in lesd than a second was standing behind Vera. He leaned forward and whispered in her ear. "I won't hurt you, and I don't want to hurt your friends. Call them down and I'll go along with whatever plan you have."

Vera watched with displeasure as the two men began to have a dick size contest. Was that what it was called? Dick shaking? Penis poking?

Vera let out a yelp when Falks appeared behind her. She automatically reacted and formed an L with her arm, effectively hitting Falks on the nose with the back of her fist.

"Whoops!" Vera said, "Sorry! But really, you shouldn't sneak up on people like that. Anyhow, I'll bring you back. Vee-Vee, Drappy, let's play nice to the ridiculously dressed man," She then put her hand over top of his head, "Of course, wouldn't want you to tell everyone where we are, now would we?" She said. With that, she sucked the air out of his lungs and watched him pass out.

When his soldiers reacted, she sent them a look, "Oh calm down. Just think of it as a power nap! C'mon, guys!" She winked and then pushed the air around Falks, making him float.

"I'm bringing home a baby bumblebee," Vera sang, kicking off the ground and flying into the air, "Won't my mama be so proud of me? I don't wanna get my head chopped off, this was all so very lucky."

PostSubject: Re: The Forbidden Art   The Forbidden Art - Page 13 EmptyMon Dec 17, 2012 5:31 pm

Azogue got ready in a few minutes, leaving a letter telling Dalicat what was happening and what he was doing, he then went to Asinoir's home, after a few minutes he arrived and he began knocking on the door with unnecesary strength. "Sir, I have come to help you defend the village, my name is Azogue" Said the Half-mercury elemental

Asinoir groaned as someone pounded on his door. It was to be expected, although it was not welcome. He kissed Ret on the back of her head and grumbled, "I don't want to." Ret giggled and turned to look at him, kissing him on the lips.

"It's alright. You are the general, after all," She said. Asinoir harrumphed and hugged her tightly before getting out of bed. He cleaned himself off as best as he could with the washcloth and water basin in the corner and then threw on his underwear and jeans. He put on a grey shirt and turned to look at Ret.

"I love you so much, sexy," He said with a wag of his eyebrows. Ret laughed at him, "I love you too," She replied.

Asinoir gave her another kiss and reluctantly walked out of the bedroom, looking at her from over his shoulder. He took a mental picture and tucked it away in his mind.

He opened up the door with force, seeing the elemental there, "Azogue," Asinoir quipped, his power seeping through his voice, laced with his irritation, "I do hope you know you just separated newlyweds. Let's go to the council chamber to draw up a plan, and quickly."

"Yes Sir, and I was in your same situation a few minutes ago" Said Azogue as he followed Asinoir to the council room.

They entered the town house and were welcomed by pitch blackness. Asinoir snapped his fingers, increasing the friction between that simple action to create static electricity, which he then turned into power for the lights. They flickered on and slowly brightened, illuminating the corridor.

The sound of their feet echoed, the building felt eerie and haunted. Asinoir wore the same mask of stoic displeasure as they entered the war room.

He grabbed a map, pulled it out, and unfurled it across the table, "They attacked at the barrier and took out our mage from the inside. That means someone in their group knows where we are and that we have been betrayed. I want to issue a head count to figure out who it was," He said, completely comfortable in his military composure.

"We need to issue out patrols and double up on guard duty. Every team needs a fire mage, someone who can shoot up a flare in case of an attack," He continued and then looked at Azogue, "Anything you'd like to add?"

"Yes, I'd like to have a few teams of earth mages under my control, so I can dig up trenches, and lay down some traps" Said Azogue as he pointed to some spots he thought would be crucial to the defense. "The more mages under my control, the better" Quickly added Azogue

Asinoir nodded and pulled out a sheet from within the drawer. On it was a list of names of mages of age and able to battle. Asinoir peered over it, circling fifteen names by the time he got to the bottom of the list.

"I'll give you eight of the fifteen earth mages for the traps. I'll need the other seven for making ramparts inside the village. We need an evacuation plan in case the enemy breaks through and into the heart of town. It's not just warriors living here," Asinoir ran his fingers through his hair, "We have six groups patrolling the borders, one for each direction and the other two for backup and relief. That means we have twenty four mages out there. Thirty nine mages already occupied... that leaves eighty four available. We need four of them to accompany the civilians in case of an evacuation..." He growled.

"I need more information!" Asinoir half shouted, slamming his fist against the table.

"Alright sir, and if you what my recommendation, if we have mages with the ability to summon beings, I'l have them summon creatures that can patrol the surrounding areas. Oh, and the fire mages that are patrolling could fill the trenches we dig with magical fire, then we cover them up, and the enemies will fall inside of them, and die" Said Azogue.

Asinoir shook his head, "Most of us are just elemental mages. Although... this does give me an idea. What if we used the light mages to create a giant, rotating mirror? That way we can see the forest and not have several of our mages gone. And the trap idea isn't a bad one..."

"Awwwww, did I miss my cue?" Said a childish voice from the doorway. Asinoir suddenly straightened up and his whole body wound up tight, ready to attack.

"Vera. What are you doing here?" Asinoir asked. Vera shrugged and then plopped Falks on top of the map they were looking at, "Why the hell would you bring me a dead body?!" Asinoir boomed.

"He's not dead, stupid, he's just passed out. And I saw him talking to the others, the ones trying to attack us. He said he wanted to come here. Since we need information, I figured it wouldn't be too bad of an idea," Vera said, plopping her butt next to Falks and swinging her legs back and forth.

"Vera, get off the table," Asinoir said, running his fingers through his hair.

"Well I need to be right here for when he wakes up. Go on. Zap him. Wake him up," Vera demanded. Asinoir ground his teeth. How she ever came into power, he never knew. He put a finger over top of the man's heart and sent a spark towards it.

"Go ahead and do what you need to, Azogue," Asinoir said, his brow furrowing in thought.

"Yes Sir" Said Azogue as he began leaving.

"Azogue, the earth mages are in the farming fields" Said Asinoir quickly, his gaze soon returning to the map and the unconscious man. Azogue nodded in response, and made his way to the farming fields.

Vexoz was ready to run over and murder Falks as he rushed twords Vera, but then she punched him in the nose. Then, choked him and flew off with the body. "That's why I love her...." He mentioned mostly to himself as Falk's men seemed unsure what to do.

The warrior gave Tellas a quick look as he flew off. "I wish I could have had an honrable duel, but I don't think there's a single real swordsman here!"

June, however, was much more concerned. Vonton seemed to be unable to move at the moment. Damn! After positioning herself between the mage and Vonton, she worked up the nerve to speak. "Hey, uhh...." She gulped, "do you know about Romanov?"

"Who?" Vexoz just sighed and leaned on a nearby tree as he stuck his blade in the ground. "Let me guess... this Romanov is an old boyfriend or something, right?"

Her expression turned cold. "Close.... Romanov's the man who killed him."

"I'd never assume you were the avenging type," Vexoz responded. It was almost supprising that Falk's men didn't attack him. They probably knew better. After all, thier leader's life was in the hands of the Chosen. Eventually, his attention was drawn to the wounded man. "He looks like he could put up a good fight."

June reached into her mirror and quickly pulled a dagger out of seemingly nowhere before he could continue! "Relax. The name's Vexoz." She took a moment before reluctantly responding. "June...."

The warrior took out a potion. "I actually got this when the barrier went down in case Cee would have hurt Vera. But, I think she'll be safe for now." June's eyes focused on it as Vexoz considered putting the bottle away. "I don't want to give it to you. After all, this man will probably ally himself with them. I would be betraying the Chosen."

At first, June looked pretty confused. Then Vexoz put the potion bottle on the ground and took a few steps away from it. Carefully, June took a few steps twords the potion. Then a few more steps. She finally just grabbed it and rushed back to Vonton.

"I look forward to fighting him one day. He seems pretty strong."

June glared at him. "You may think you're all high and mighty, but you mages are just filth.... Filth!" Vexoz almost chuckled at the remark as June used the potion on Vonton.

Azrael quickly took notice of the air shifting. A lot of things were going to go down soon, and he wasn't liking it one bit. He held Kailyn's hand and quickly took her to a small clearing despite her protests. The stood in the center, Azrael kneeling softly.

"Kailyn, times are obviously getting dark and grim and the upcoming events will change things forever. So, because I'm pressured by time and I doubt this chance will arise again. Kailyn, I'm going to teach you how to use the abilities I gave you. I understand you're pregnant. Don't worry, the Crusnik genes won't spread to the child's DNA." Kailyn looked at the only sort of family member she had and nodded with confidence.

"Alright Azrael, let's begin." Azrael instantly sprouted two black angel wings, his eyes turning black.

"Splendid."
______________________

Kailyn was unfazed as she stayed airborne with four white angel wings, yellow-gold eyes and a sword formed of blood. Azrael was kneeling, tattered and bruised from the sparring. It had only been a few minutes when they started, and Kailyn learned so much in so little time.

"Azrael I'm so sorry! I don't know how far this goes. Eheheh…" Azrael slowly got up, showing no sighs of tiredness. He nodded, healing slowly. He was using left-over vampire blood from earlier for healing.

"Well, that's all you should know Kailyn. Lets head back."

Hello The familiar voice echoed through the lotus shaped building that was Falks' inner world. I told you I'd be back dumbass... The voice got closer that time and the Guradian materialized next to where Falks was standing. "Man you are right fucked, aren't you?" He said as he slapped Falks on the back of the head.
"Right in the down under." Falks replied. "So this is how it all ends. Taken prisoner by the Chosen and used as a pawn to betray my own people."

"That pretty much sums it up. But let me give you a little I learned a long time ago: If you don't have something worth fighting for, then there's no reason to fight at all. The Chosen? They're fighting for vengeance, which while it is sweet, may never last. So find what you want to defend an defend it." Falks turned to face the being, but saw nothing there.

As he stood there and staired at a painting on the wall, he could feel a multitude of emotions well up inside. Grief, elation, envy, jelousy, he felt them all but the most prevalent was anger. He hadn't been able to protect Rose, or his father, or Ceros.

He focused the anger, and balled it up in his fist. The building was eaten up around him as the ball of energy grew to the size of a horse, with Falks at the center. All at once he absorbed the electricity. He changed instantly, his skin becoming a ghostly white, his eyes pitch black, and his horns growing to atleast a foot long. His body jolted and he found himself in a room, sitting next to the girl from before. Asinoir stood a few feet away. The anger returned and Falks lunged at him, a literal lightning bolt forming in his hand.

Kailyn peeked at Azrael, "I'm sorry if I hurt you," She said apologetically, "I never realize we were capable of-- wait, did you say I was pregnant?" She stopped in her tracks, laying a hand over her belly, "I doubt it, I mean, Drake and I barely know each other and we just started to... y'know... a week ago. I just..." Kailyn sighed and looked up at the man who guarded her from far away, "Brother, I'm scared."

-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Vera yipped as Falks suddenly jumped to life while Asinoir shook his head. Asinoir put his hands in his pockets and shifted to the side, effectively dodging the clumsy lunge.

"Fight, fight, fight!" Vera chanted. Asinoir shot the redhead a dirty look and she pouted in reply.

"Why did you bring him here?" Asinoir asked coolly, noticing the physical changes the man went through.

"Cause... he wanted to come here?"

"Ah, so we just allow anyone who wants to be here to enter, is that it?"

"Well, no. He was leading a scouting party."

To that, Asinoir cocked an eyebrow, "Oh really now?" He asked, his gaze drifting to the horned man, "So you're a part of the upcoming attack, aren't you?" It wasn't so much a question as a statement.

Vera nodded, replying for Falks, "Yup, saw him with the main group a few days ago."

Asinoir tossed her a look, "Speaking of which, we will need to discuss that."

"So, impeccably dressed one, you came here to... what? Start a fight by yourself?" Asinoir mocked.
